Summer Fun!

Its been a very Hot summer so far so we try to keep as cool as possible. We've been doing alot of backyard swimming and using our family pass to the public pools! We've had alot of fun so far!

We attempted to make 4th of July Rice Krispy Treats.. they didnt so much turn out (too much butter....oops) But the girls loved them anyway!

Our cake! Its not the prettiest but thats what happens when you let the youngin help decorate it.
Its always been a tradition in my family to make the Flag cake on the 4th, So i decided to start doing it with my little family!

She was super excited... to pick off the fruit and eat it!

We had a really fun 4th this year! We started the day by going with Reeds parents to the movies to see "UP" it was SO good! Lauryn loved it and did so good in the theater. We were a little nervous. Then later that night we went to a high school in Gilbert to see the fire works, it was fun (besides the heat) They had music, food and bouncy houses! Lauryn had fun but didnt care too much for the fireworks this year, this was probably due to no nap!

Reed was patiently waiting and trying to stay awake until the fireworks started..

Free Balloons are always a great way to keep a child happy!
